Description: Command Post Technologies, Inc is looking for Sr. Systems Engineer/Analyst - Computer Systems , to support personnel to assist our customer's in maintaining and developing existing Weapons Systems Support infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. The ideal candidate for this position has Team leadership experience and can prioritize mission critical tasks and coordinate the development and expansion of systems so that updates and other maintenance tasks do not impede daily operations. Primary Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, producibility studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, post-delivery support. - Provide communications and network systems engineering for developmental and tactical hardware systems - Includes support for upgrade of development and tactical hardware suites - Provide network planning, design, functional and logical assessments, and analyses of the systems under development - Support forums where development and prioritization of tactical and developmental hardware upgrades are discussed - Provide network and communications support for program specific interoperability test efforts (eg, planning, conducting, analyzing, reporting, etc.) - Support Cybersecurity efforts to include Risk Management Framework implementation . Requirements: Required Qualifications: Ten (10) years professional systems engineering experience with a DoD major strategic, platform, weapon, combat, Command and Control (C2), and/or fire control systems program, with five years' concurrent experience as a team leader performing system engineering and mission engineering efforts that include developing requirements and top level designs and/or system architectures for software intensive systems. This includes experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving platform, weapon, combat, C2, and fire control systems for Navy/Joint warfighting capabilities A Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or ten (10) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the PWS, including the qualifications below. Desired Qualifications: - Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts to include Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation. - Naval weapons systems experience.
