We are currently recruiting for a Training Database Assistant to join our growing Learning & Organizational Developmentteam based out of our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD. The Training Database Assistant's primary role will be toprovideadministrative support to and management of our training databaseby entering all internal and external employee training records. In addition, the person in this positionwill be responsible for: Obtaining training reports from external training providers Identifying when internal training records have been improperly submitted and support the submitter in understanding the correct process Providing reports to our internal and external customers on a routine and ad-hocbasis Providing certification cards to employees across the Company Maintaining employee training files (both hard copy and soft / electronic format) Tracking non-DOT and DOT Company drivers and related documentation Assisting in performing quality assuranceon training materials and training systems Other support and special projects related to the Companys training function Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position: Expereince with data entryand / or administrative experience Ability to work independently to complete tasks and solve problems Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced construction office environment Strong customer service skills Strong proficiency with computers, databases, and office software Our ideal candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor with strong customer support skills and the ability to handle and safeguard confidential information. Additionally, candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates who are bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) may be given preference.
