The Corporate Recruiter will work closely with the Recruiting Leads to support staffing across the organization, leveraging best practices and techniques for supporting our customers effectively. The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to take the next step in their recruiting career, and has a solid foundation in government contracting or recruiting agency support.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position is remote until further notice, but will be based out of the National Capital Region.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leads to gain a comprehensive understanding of TechOp's hiring needs for each positionMeet competitive hiring goals and expectationsDevelop job descriptionsManage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talentGrow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open upContinuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategiesStay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcementsScreens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and/or in-person), and administers appropriate assessments, reference checking, makes recommendations for hire (or no hire)Draft and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openingsUses online resources to source and identify potential candidates that meet specific requirements and experienceManages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with Hiring Managers, transfer offer letter/new hire documents, transfer of security documents, etc.Follows up with candidates and Hiring Managers to ensure updated information on the interview process statusCommunicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (ie benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.)Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulationsManages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policyStandardizes position descriptions for various positions/portfoliosRequirementsBA/BS + 2-3 years of experience in recruiting requiredExperience in federal contracting recruiting highly desiredWorking knowledge of the recruiting life cycleExperience working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environmentExceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skillsExperience handling multiple positions/portfoliosAdvanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet searchesWorking knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking SystemExperience working with job board databases to find qualified candidates, HR software, databases, and management systemsProven experience conducting various types of interviewsDesired QualificationsExperience working or supporting a federal government contracting companyExperience utilizing and navigating online recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and HandshakeExperience developing recruiting strategy
