Applicants with degrees in a STEM field may be eligible for special pay As an Inspector General IT Auditor for the CIA, you will conduct Information Technology (IT) audits of CIA programs and activities. IT Auditor responsibilities include performing IT audits of the development, security, and internal controls of IT systems and applications particularly as they relate to auditable financial statements and mission support activities; the acquisition of IT systems; the use of IT in intelligence operations; and the practices for security management. Audits are conducted in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards. Travel may be required. Working in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) allows for growth beyond a particular area of expertise and the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the intricacies of CIA management. Enterprise Functions at the CIA - Office of the Inspector General The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is part of the CIA's Enterprise Functions, which provides governance and oversight to the business of intelligence effort across the Agency at Headquarters and in locations worldwide. OIG is an independent office of the CIA that promotes economy, efficiency, effectiveness and accountability in the management of CIA activities by performing independent audits, inspections, investigations, and reviews of CIA programs and operations. All positions require relocation to the Washington, DC metro area. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields or related studies: Information Technology (with some Accounting and/or Finance course work) Accounting Finance Business Management GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills Strong analytic and research skills Ability to assemble and assimilate large quantities for data, discern key issues and draw reliable conclusions Desired Qualifications: CISA Certification (Certified Information System Auditor) All applicants must successfully complete: A thorough medical and psychological exam A polygraph interview A comprehensive background investigation To be considered suitable for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last 12 months.
