Some travel will be required. n nJury or bench trial experience is not absolutely required, but any such experience would certainly be valued. There will also be the opportunity to support trademark litigations, thus any such additional IP litigation experience is not required, but would certainly be valued. Since the primary focus will be patent litigation, a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or physics is strongly preferred, and a graduate level technical degree would be a plus. A USPTO license and/or prior experience as a judicial clerk, would also be valued here. n nEven though this firm is highly progressive and full taking advantage of the technology necessary to hire such an associate or Of Counsel on a remote basis, this is still a very collegial team environment, and video conferencing is actively used as a very effective tool. Subsequently, strong interpersonal skills are certainly required.
