Apply and see how far you can go with Alion as a Talent Acquisition Specialist!Position SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting efforts. The role is ideal for a strong candidate who is passionate about or interested in working toward exceeding company-hiring goals. Must work very closely with hiring managers, engaging as a strategic business partner to assess hiring and business needs and successfully fill job openings in a timely manner. Using a variety of recruiting sources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will post job openings, source resumes from internal and external websites, utilize social media and various advertisement options, identify qualified candidates, schedule interviews, provide benefit information, negotiate salary offers and extend employment offers. Discuss HR Policies and Procedures with hiring managers when necessary. Attend and participate in regular Talent Acquisition meetings to discuss recruiting issues and updates. Responsible for managing applicant profiles in HRIS system. Provide weekly recruiting status reports to management. Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, plus at least 3 to 5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience working in a government contracting environment. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for equivalent work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience. The ability to interact with managers at all levels in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required. Experience using a wide variety of recruiting sources including but not limited to the following: Internet recruiting, employee referrals, social networks, job fairs, college career fairs, open house events, advertisements, etc. Knowledge of employment laws, Revolving Door and OFCCP employment requirements. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strong Internet recruiting experience is necessary. Successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and represent the company in a professional manner. Experience hiring transitioning military, information technology professionals, and engineers is highly desired. Ability to hire cleared personnel at all levels. Experience with contract proposal support, a plus. Experience with corporate or executive recruitment's, a plus. Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency, working independently or in a team environment.*CJ#LI-RM1Security Clearance: None
