WANTED: An experienced Acquisition Program Management Analyst to support the AST Program Office in Washington, DC. As an Acquisition Program Management Analyst, you will:You will be heavily relied upon to support production lead in diverse acquisition requirements that included: contracting modifications, proposal technical analysis, tracking contracting requirements, cost analysis, cost reduction studies, and supporting the Program Manager in preparation of future major milestone decisions.Work independently with little customer supervision and will interact with both IPT and Program Leadership, providing them the documentation necessary to provide agency leadership with the program knowledge (Cost, Schedule, Performance) to confidently approve acquisition milestones.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Enjoy being in an organization where Program Managers are highly valued, work independently and in a culture of accountability A week in the life of the Acquisition Program Management Analyst:Fully support the Production IPT Lead in contracting, cost analysis, contract modification tracking, proposal technical assessments, and other urgent action items as needed.Use database systems (ie, SharePoint) to track existing contracting actions, managed contractual documentation, and provide detailed reports to the Program Manager. Perform detailed studies to establish cost reduction strategies to support program requirements and generate necessary documentation/reports.Conduct detailed technical analysis of contractor proposals, coordinate evaluations, and draft derailed reports for the Production IPTL/COR as needed.Develop/use existing cost models to ascertain government cost positions based on technical analysis.Generate and/or update the following documents: SOW, CDRLs, contract exhibits/attachments, cost estimates, J, and procurement Requests. Support meetings; design reviews/audits; working groups; and briefings at other facilities as determined by the Government Program Managers.Coordinate with the Contract Officer's Representatives (COR), the Contracting Officer for modifications, prioritization of action items, and documentation generation as needed. Coordinate with Configuration Management personnel for needed engineering change proposal (ECP) contracting actions. Winner National Top Workplace Award 2021#cjpost #LI-KS2Job RequirementsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or an Engineering Discipline and 5-7 years of experience or a Master's and 3 to 5 years of experienceMore than 5 years relevant experience with a DoD agency, preferably in program acquisition/cost analysis/contractingMust have a current Top Secret/SSBI clearanceESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Detailed understanding of the DoD Acquisition process and a Program Office's role within that process (deliverable timelines, required documents etc).Ability to Independently determine and develop approach to solutions. Must have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and conceptsMust be able to work under only general directionAbility to provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsDESIRED: Master's Degree in Business or Management EOE M/F/Disability/Veterans
