Caroline County logistics company is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to add to its growing team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, support, and development to the recruiting staff and is responsible for the coordination of recruiting events and efforts.Job Requirements: Fills senior-level positions as well as positions in sales, operations and administration Ensure all candidates have a smooth experience, are treated fairly, and have the most positive perception of our company regardless of the outcome. Collaborate with Marketing to drive external branding efforts to position the company as a premier employer Works closely with hiring managers in other regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives. Works closely with the VP of Human Resources on the continuous improvement of the talent acquisition process Produce talent acquisition results that align with the needs of the business Identify roadblocks in the process and work with the VP of HR and hiring managers to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process Promote the employee referral program and make recommendations for improvement Identify and avoid potential legal issues regarding non-compete and non-solicitation clauses and educate the team on potential pitfalls Document our hiring processes and ensure that SOPs are followed by the team and hiring managers Ensure the team and hiring managers comply with all laws and ethical standards in our hiring process Additional Responsibilities Recommend talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and technology solutions to identify, attract, hire and onboard top talent Assist the HR and Marketing teams with special projects Participate in community involvement projects and use the opportunities to engage with potential candidates and existing team members. Required education and experience: 2 years of successful talent acquisition experience Proficient in sourcing candidates Bachelor's Degree Strong business acumen Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws
