The Lourie Center for Children's Social & Emotional Wellness is a private, non-profit agency with a mission to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through prevention, early intervention, education, research and training. The Lourie Center has four core programs serving children birth through age 12 and their families: Head Start, The Lourie Center School, The Therapeutic Nursery Program and Parent-Child Clinical Services.

The Lourie Center seeks to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As the Intake/Admin Assistant, you will:
•serve as a resource for all of Lourie Center's Programs as the receptionist for the front desk
•be responsible for greeting families and performing general office duties
•collect and record payments and update information
•provide the first level of triage to families interested in services for their children
•work with other intake team members to determine eligibility for the program
•send Authorization to Release Information forms to primary physicians in order to obtain medical records for new clients
•provide annual county-approved parent/guardian survey to clients
•provide community resources to families that are ineligible for Lourie Center services
•ensure eligible families are placed on the Lourie Center clinic's waitlist
•meet weekly with the intake team to determine case assignment to the Lourie Center clinic team.

Required Qualifications:
•High School diploma.
•A minimum of one year experience in a business office environment
•Bilingual in Spanish & English
•Be able to handle multi-line telephones
•Ability to be comfortable working in an electronic environment
•Must be able to work under pressure
