Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Creates a work environment that meets staff and organizational needs.
• Provides guidance and direction that moves the team towards common or shared goals with available resources that support organizational mission and goals.
• Develops and monitors cost controls to utilize time, material, and personnel resources in an effective and efficient manner.
• Explores service needs, establishes and implements long and short term objectives that are consistent with the organization's mission, vision, values, and goals.
• Utilizes all aspects of the performance dialogue process to help staff best fulfill their objectives.
• Serves as a key member of the organization's Senior Management Team.
• Management Responsibilities: carries out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development, performance management and employee relation functions.
• Serves as the department's fiscal manager.
• Develops and monitors cost controls to utilize time, material, and personnel resources in and effective and efficient manner. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, 24 hours a day.

Requirements:
• BS degree in nursing, Masters preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensed in State of Maryland
• Three to five years managerial experience in management of Women's Health service
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to create work environment that promotes staff productivity, satisfaction and efficiency
• Ability to gather and analyze data
• Strong written and verbal skills Ability to manage financial budgets and business plan
• Ability to diplomatically manage crisis situations and resolve customer service issues
• Basic PC skills, such as Internet, email, windows environment.
