The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the association's digital brand presence on a variety of platforms including (but not limited to), the association's various websites, virtual conference platforms, mobile apps, and outbound marketing email communications. Primary Director of Digital Marketing Job Responsibilities: Works collaboratively within the Marketing department, with the Chief Marketing Officer, and other department directors, and interdepartmentally with key stakeholders for various marketing projects. Has primary responsibility for the content, functionality, and branding of association websites, including analysis and reporting of digital performance metrics and optimization of online marketing performance (eg, UX, SEO). Develops and implements functional strategies to attract customers to the association's websites, enhance the association's online presence and brand(s), and promote products and services. Develops digital marketing plans that ensure objectives are met and direct and work with the Web Developer and Digital Marketing Coordinator to implement and execute the marketing plans, ensuring project milestones and goals are met. Oversees all e-marketing content by directing and working with the Web Developer and Digital Marketing Coordinator to manage the association's websites, email campaigns, and online community. Reviews changes in the marketplace and recommends digital marketing strategies to the Chief Marketing Officer. Ideal Director of Digital Marketing Candidates will have: a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in digital marketing, business management, communications, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Nonprofit organization experience is a plus; superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and the capacity to communicate with tact and professionalism; proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (with advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration. experience working with popular keyword tools ( eg, Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.). experience with website analytics using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics. In-depth knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM) and SEO. experience working with Content Management Systems and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments. effective project management, planning, and organization skills. Ability to work autonomously with initiative. the ability to analyze problems, develop a path toward problem solving, and coordinate the process to completion; and have strong multi-tasking and organization skills and a comfort in maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities.
