Job Description Jacobs is seeking a Mid Full Stack Developer in Alexandria, VA. Duties will include: *This position is contingent upon funding.* Design and develop applications using JavaScript Frameworks on the Frontend and a SOA based architecture utilizing REST/JSON, Spring, and J2EEDesign and implement unit and functional testing Perform design and code reviewsInterface with Business Analysis and UI/UX teamsOther duties as assignedQualifications 7+ years of experience in developing J2EE applications. HTML, CSS, JS, worked on a SOA/ROA architecture using REST/JSON, Spring, J2EE Experience with modern JavaScript MVC frameworks such as, and Ember, EXT, Angular, Bootstrap Excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS Experience in developing applications using JavaScript MVC frameworks Strong knowledge and project experience in Java Technologies like J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Web Services (REST, Soap), XSLT, XML Experience with Database design including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasks Working knowledge with Jenkins/Code Management/Configuration Production Support & Issue resolution Must have experience working on and managing prototypes and white paper development Desired Requirements: Experience working with in an Agile development environmentExperience with JIRAExperience with automated testing (eg experience using Selenium) Excellent communication and teamwork skillsBachelor's degreePMP certificationEssential Job FunctionsWork Environment:General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Physical Requirements:Most work will be done at a desk or computer. Equipment and Machines:General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Attendance:Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. Other Essential Functions:Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
