Serving federal agencies and the Intelligence Community for more than 50 years, the Intelligence Group helps our clients meet their mission needs by providing trusted advisors, leading-edge technologies, and innovative solutions.Peraton is looking for a Network Engineer III to provide critical Network Operations Engineering support for the White House Support Staff to ensure communication and collaboration for a variety of missions for worldwide users through the deployment of computer, telephony and voice/video and data networks. This position is a critical role on a high profile, dynamic team with job responsibilities for this position including but not limited to the following:Lead efforts in designing multi-protocol networks using routers and large bridged networks and creating and maintaining network documentationAssisting user groups with network and communications issuesDefining of routed networks addressing schemes, designing network links for mainframe access, building and configuring the Internet with IP routers, and segmenting networks bridgesTroubleshooting IP configuration problems through understanding of router techniques and examine router traffic.
