ResponsibilitiesThe Construction Project Manager - Senior Level will support projects, to include construction, design/build, architecture and engineering, space management, and facilities management of large complex construction projects in US Embassies and Consulates . The general responsibilities of the CPM - Senior Level are as follows: Responsible for Legal Attach facilities projects from concept to close out to include scope of work development, estimates, oversight of design, construction, furniture, cabling and close out of projects. Coordinates with the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO), Diplomatic Security (DS) and Post stakeholders on renovation and New Embassy Compound , New Consulate Compounds, and Suite renovation Develop and maintain Legal Attach Project Portfolio Database based on FBI Record Management Guidelines, Acquisition Security Guideline and Department of States Construction Security Guidelines. Ensures compliance with client standards and policies to include ICD 705 and applicable Department of State Standards and Policies. Travels extensively throughout the world to Client locations for initial surveys, design surveys, and construction related inspections and meetings. Advises Client's leadership and team members on various program and project related issues. Develop, organize and maintain standard forms, documents and design drawing standards unique to the Client's Overseas program. Experience in prior national security government projects with in-depthknowledge of the current US Government Inter-Agency Security Committee (ISC) standards and national security construction standards. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively present information. Superior communication and organization development skills. Experience in managing people. Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams. Expert in Microsoft Office and industry/project software packages to include but not be limited to latest versions of (PM Prolog, Newforma, Microsoft Project, Primavera, RS Means, Buzz saw or other cloud-basedconstruction management protocols, etc.). Knowledge of Department of State construction policies and regulations. Able to travel far distances up to 24 hours on an airplane to reach project site. PM shall be able to travel to a location that may be on the State Department's danger pay list. Once on site, PM shall be able to get around by walking, climbing or crawling indoors or outdoors and in adverse weather conditions. Minimum Years of Experience: 10years of experience Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree Desired: Degree(s): Construction Management, engineering, architecture, interior designer, or other related field Certification(s): One of the following certifications are preferred: Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), American Institute of Architects (AIA), Registered Architect (RA), Real estate license required.
