Type of Requisition:RegularClearance Level Must Currently Possess:NoneClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:NoneSuitability:No Suitability RequiredPublic Trust/Other Required:NACI (T1)Job Family:Systems EngineeringJob Description:Provide management of day-to-day operations for Client Engineering tasksCombine software, hardware, standards and engineering in the development of system architecturesEnsure maintenance of SCCM infrastructureLead the SCCM/Vulnerability Management team mentoring junior staff and effectively communicate complex technical challenges to managementManage the workstation vulnerability management process from notification through confirmation of patch installationSCCM server administrationOversee COTS and custom application/software packaging and deployments using SCCM. Ensure appropriate testing of packages is completed prior to deploymentManage multiple projects using project management principlesDevelop and update processes and procedures related to workstation management. A' Coordinate updates to images with help desk support teams and change management organizationServe as extension of customer support center team for technical escalations Ensure all work is supported by appropriate documentation and resolved/completed within (SLA) service level agreement (incident, problem, service request A' or project tickets) Ensure proper solutions and knowledge management best practices are followed, and integrate Continual Service Improvement processes to continually refine and improve image management.Facilitate the implementation of ITIL standardsCreate, update and maintain SOPsMust have:Experience managing engineering teams (5 years)Workstation & Windows OS image engineering (5 years)Management of workstations, patching, deployments using SCCM and Group Policy (4 years)Experience building and maintain relationships with government customer (4 years)VM Image Creation, VM Image update, Persistent / Non Persistent POOL Creation and ManagementOversight experience with user profiles and tools to manage and maintain themExperience managing automated image builds and software deployments of COTS and Custom applicationsExperience with UAT validation and production software deploymentsMicrosoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability and experience leading, influencing, negotiating and problem solvingRequired Certifications (any one of the following): MCTS, MCSE, MCSA, or SCCMITIL v4 FoundationsVMWare Desktop and Mobility certification or equivalent Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Travel Required:Less than 10%Telecommuting Options:Telecommuting Not AllowedWork Location:USA DC WashingtonAdditional Work Locations:We are GDIT.
