As a Senior Mechanic, Plumbing you will be responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing fixtures, piping and related equipment and systems in accordance with industry best practices; ensuring that all work is done according to design specifications, state and local building codes, and applicable regulations.

Under general supervision by the Supervisor and management team, the Senior Building Maintenance Technician operates, maintains, and services basic building walls, doors, flooring, plumbing, steam, vessels, pumps, motors, fire protection, nurse call, and other building systems. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Qualified candidates will possess:
•Knowledge and experience in repair and general maintenance of plumbing required
• High School Diploma/Trade School education or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Insurance
• State plumbing license
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
• Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
• 8 years of commercial plumbing experience, with 2 years of Hospital/ healthcare experience preferred

Work Schedule:

Week days, 6:30AM-3PM with occasional weekend rotations.
