The Patient Financial Advisor (Scheduler) will:
  • Accurately gather necessary demographic and clinical information from patient interviews and other sources and enters into appropriate database; obtains other necessary information and signatures required for scheduling and registration. Seek appropriate resources to resolve issues about the type, date or location of prescribed procedures.
  • Utilize courteous and professional telephone techniques and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain rapport with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
  • Schedule patient procedures in a manner that most efficiently utilizes the patient's time and clinical resources.
  • Conduct all activities with knowledge and understanding of Adventist Healthcare's mission and values, regulatory compliance requirements, payer requirements, HIPAA privacy and security requirements, the overall revenue cycle procedures and the hospital's policies

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual Spanish desired
• Scheduling/patient registration experience
• Knowledge and utilization of Windows desktop applications including Word and Excel.
