Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Internal Auditor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

The Senior Internal Auditor reports to the Senior Manager, Audit & Advisory Services, supports the Senior Manager with projects or initiatives as needed, and is responsible for performing both Internal Audit and Organizational Integrity related duties as assigned; ensures successful completion of assigned audit/project engagements from start to finish, applies risk and control concepts to all work performed, identifies potential observations, communicates identified observations to the Senior Manager to ensure any concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner; and validates implementation of corrective action plans resulting from work performed.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a healthcare
related field required
• Master of Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
• Big 4 Accounting firm or large Internal Audit department experience
• At least 5 years of progressive internal audit or equivalent experience
• Experience applying Agile Internal Auditing methodology strongly
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Practical experience with the Professional Standards promulgated by the
Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) as codified in their International
Professional Practices Framework
• Two years of experience leading projects and supervising staff auditors
• Professional Certification (CPA, CIA, or CHIAP) required. If not certified
upon hire, certification shall be obtained within 18 months of hire
