Adventist HealthCare Home Health seeks to hire an experienced Medical Records Supervisor to support our Silver Springs Branch who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Medical Records Supervisor you will:
Medical records supervisor is responsible for verifying accuracy and completeness of the patient medical record in order to comply with regulatory, state and agency guidelines. Completeness of the medical record as it pertains to all documentation, including but not limited to physician orders, scheduling requirements, consents for treatment, NOMNCs, HHCCNs, HHABNs, and labs impacts clinical care and claims remittance. Medical Records team members provide compassionate service to all patients and display actions and attitudes that portray and contribute to the Critical Success factors of the organization. The Medical Records Supervisor acts as the first level of leadership for the Medical Records team.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyzes clinical documentation for completion to allow for timely billing
• Tracks physician compliance with order signatures and identifies trends for performance
improvement. Performs weekly audit of MD signature compliance.
• Works with other departments to ensure follow thru of processes and procedures for accurate
medical record collection.
• Oversees Forcura duties completed by the medical records team regarding incoming documents
for accurate tracking and details for accurate record transfer to HCHB.
• Covers staff absences and assists with other HIM duties as needed, including but not limited to:
Scanning and filing; Chart assembly; Workflow in HCHB; Forcura duties as assigned.
• Audit to ensure that billing and payment posting is timely and accurate works thru the "Review/
Clear Held claim workflow" in HCHB

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 4 years of experience in health care/ medical records preferred.
