Director, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Learning & Development

The Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Learning & Development will lead the learning strategy and execution to build skills and capabilities across the company. This individual will build and manage a team of professionals to build, source, and implement best in class learning solutions. The Director and their team will work to understand needs across all business lines, while bringing deep expertise in Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) and adult learning practices, to deliver the best solutions.

This Director will lead the build of exceptional performance-based learning solutions that support our vision and strategy and will have the opportunity to champion, influence, reimagine, and refine the impacts of learning throughout the company. This position calls for a leader who is a strategic forward-thinker, problem solver, and relationship builder who is adept at innovating while managing risk and exercising good judgment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, lead and develop a team of learning professionals to develop innovative training solutions that will advance our DIB skills and expertise across the company
  • Partner with business leaders, HR partners, and L&D teammates to build best DIB learning strategies and experiences that meet people where they are and bring them forward on their journey
  • Lead the development and implementation of learning initiatives in support of key DIB priorities
  • Devise and implement a clear and consistent learning assessment model to measure results short term and long term
  • Leverage deep expertise in DIB and adult learning to inform the learning strategy and products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external training vendors and DIB experts
  • Communicate with and influence leadership at all levels
  • Create and manage a company-wide learning budget
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven track record in prioritizing competing priorities
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change
  • Applied expertise in facilitating discussions on difficult topics, and coaching others in this area
  • Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon diverse perspectives
  • Proactive management of risks, applying sound judgment and business acumen


Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in client consulting
  • At least 5 years of experience in diversity, inclusion an d belonging
  • At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development
  • At least 5 years of experience in people management
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management


Preferred Qualifications :
  • Master's Degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in Learning & Development
  • At least 10 years of experience in people management
  • At least 7 years experience in diversity, inclusion and belonging
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management (planning, executing, tracking)
  • At least 5 years of experience in driving multi-year, company-wide learning endeavors
  • Certified Executive Coach
