Senior Accounting Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Controllers Accounting Organization as a Senior Associate focusing on accounting, financial analysis and process improvements. We are looking for a new team member who has strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. The team member should also possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The team member would be a self-starter responsible for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment. This person should have a passion for improvement and a desire to keep learning with what new technology can offer to rethink the possible.

This role will have the opportunity to engage with groups across the organization as part of key business projects and initiatives. In addition, the team member will be able to leverage new technology in both data visualization and data manipulation to continually improve processes and enhance analytics.

Responsibilities :
  • Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and other ad hoc analytics for line of business, Accounting and Finance leadership.
  • Interact directly with Finance and key business partners, associates throughout the Controllers group, tax, and external and internal auditors
  • Support quarterly SEC and Regulatory Reporting as well as other ad hoc reporting requests
  • Support automation efforts of team's processes to help drive efficiencies, enhanced controls, and/or improved accuracy and quality of deliverables.
  • Participate in change initiatives by supporting line of business efforts and enterprise initiatives
  • Participate in continuous learning opportunities
  • Contribute to the On Demand Finance vision and goals


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of accounting or audit experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Experience with Data Analytics, Data Visualization (Tableau, Python, SQL), or a combination
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification
