To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Responsibilities
- Reports to the DCMA Security Director as the principal Information Security (INFOSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Industrial Security technical expert.
- Interprets new legislation concerning INFOSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial security programs; then establishes associated policies, training, and tools.
- Oversees and proves operational/tactical support to DCMA activities world-wide.
- Resolves interagency issues with Agency leadership, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Security and Intelligence, Interagency OPSEC Support Staff (IOSS), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and other national partners.
- Ensures Material Internal Control Program (MICP) requirements are met.
- Plans, schedules, oversees, and conducts effective/efficient operational/tactical assistance programs in support of DCMA field activities world-wide.
- Works with leadership to ensure compliance with Executive Branch, DoD, and organizational classified information processing/secure storage requirements.
- Reviews contracts to ensure industrial security requirement compliance as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Assesses field activities for INFOSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security resource-related requirements.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Security Specialist position, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. - Interpreting legislation/DoD policies to establish agency-level policies, training, and tools.
- Creating effective operational/tactical security assistance/assessment programs.
- Ensuring compliance with Executive Branch, DoD, and organizational classified information processing/secure storage requirements.
- Ensuring DCMA-issued contracts comply with the DoD/National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual industrial security requirements.
- Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) subject matter expert.
- Possessing Security Fundamentals Professional Certification and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification.
Education
