As an IT Program Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Managing the operation and maintenance of Financial Services IT systems including, but not limited to assisting with customer help desk tickets, assisting with issues/defect, communicate system health and availability to user community and interfaced system project managers.

Performing contract and financial management for IT financial management systems.

Identifying opportunities to improve agency's IT financial management systems' user experience to enhance business processes and utilize emerging technologies.

Provide guidance, support and coordination to the agency's IT financial management systems user community and business leads.

In order to qualify for this position, in addition to the basic requirements you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG-11) in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that demonstrates an understanding of IT system operations, project management skills, problem solving and workload prioritization; managing an IT financial system SaaS environment; performing acquisition related work that includes but is not limited to creating proposals, cost estimates and narrative justifications; performing financial management of acquisition related work that includes but is not limited to budget, forecasting and invoice approval; the ability to be customer service focused when working with system end users and support staff.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Knowledge in the application of developing, configuring and maintaining integrated, cloud-based Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) IT financial systems.
  • Skill in providing customer service for an IT system user community and support staff.
  • Knowledge in the application of communicating information, ideas and advice in a clear, concise and logical manner, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge in the application of performing system development life cycle, project management and contract management functions in support of IT financial systems.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all levels of personnel.
