Senior Associate, Product Manager- CR

As a Product Manager in Customer Resiliency, you'll be leading initiatives and partnering with key stakeholders to lay the foundation for the way customers interact with Capital One. This role will be responsible for implementing policies, managing processes, and building experiences in a way that drives customer success while protecting our business. You'll team with world-class Product Managers, Business Analysts, Process Managers, Designers, and Engineers to collaborate and deliver results that will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company.

The team is seeking to fill the role of team connector and task executor. The right candidate will have demonstrated that they can improve company processes in the past, resulting in saving time and resources for the company. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. They will possess flexibility, be able to adapt to constantly changing demands, and show themselves capable of taking on new and unfamiliar tasks, resulting in a cohesive and successful product team environment.

You will also:
  • Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company
  • Collaborate with partners to improve processes and to deliver better experiences
  • Drive projects based on defined team and product priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks, issues and mitigate as needed
  • Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation
  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
  • Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
  • Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business process


We are looking for someone who has a bias towards action and is resourceful and self-motivated. The successful candidate is able to:

Be resourceful and autonomous when taking on new tasks and projects, relying on problem solving skills
  • Understand customer expectations and industry best practices
  • Identify current gaps & technical constraints
  • Participate in developing the roadmap, understanding requirements and deliverables
  • Partner with IT Delivery, Operations, enterprise teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance) and third party vendors as needed
  • Display a continuous process improvement mindset
  • Demonstrate learning agility and intellectual curiosity
  • Be open-minded and easily adapt to change
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to organize, assign, and quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Demonstrate outstanding collaboration skills, as you will interact with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Be detail oriented, innovative and team oriented

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in digital product management or experience in delivering products or technology


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management
