ResponsibilitiesThe Web Administrator Technical Specialists is responsible for working with our sponsor to establish requirements for a highly sensitive online Web site, and database including SharePoint. The Web Administrator develops and maintains the client's web portal, performs backups and ensures user accessibility to the site. In addition, the Web Admin will Monitor site traffic and help scale site capacity to meet traffic demands and performance expectations. Improves the portal's efficiency and designs the look and feel for the site using HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. Stays abreast of emerging technologies that will improve the website's experience and functionality. Collaborates with sponsor management and IT to determine the website's purpose, functions, requirements and long-term strategy. Works to ensure optimal page loads, uptime and integration with business functions as appropriate. Debugs issues that arise with the performance of the website(s). Troubleshoots the website(s), including content, links, order flows, registration flows and transaction logs. Researches emerging technologies and services that may enhance the web experience, plans for obsolescence and makes recommendations to management. QualificationsQualifications:Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.TS/SCI Clearance w/polygraph Experience with HTMLExperience with JavaScriptExperience with SharePoint development and supportExperience with Joomla open-source content management system (CMS) for publishing web content. Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, written and verbal communication, sound judgment, problem solving and independent working skills.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations.Flexibility in assisting with ad hoc tasks and in adjusting as tasks are re-prioritized.
