SUMMARY Responsible for the marketing and communications functions of the overall program. Contribute and support the organization's overall strategy and continuously align marketing and communication functions to support strategy, growth and other program initiatives. Lead the internal and external communications areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following: Collaborates with the organization's senior leadership to develop and refine overall strategic plan and the plans to successfully implement. Develops and implements marketing, advertising and communication strategies and communicates actionable implementation plan. Manages all media relations and public affairs for the organization, serving as a spokesperson as needed. Maintains close relationships with senior leadership and, develops custom communication plans for employees and external audiences. Provides creative leadership and counsel on leading trends in design, advertising, direct marketing and motion graphics used in marketing. Oversees the development and production of marketing collateral materials, including media plans and purchasing media services. Creates and executes compelling marketing campaigns and analyze performance to ensure plan objectives are attained. Articulates product and service offerings, key benefits and messages for use by account executives and capture managers. Creates and implements advanced analytics & process management improvements. Implements a content strategy and development plans to support business goals and initiatives. Develops customer feedback cycles, survey and focus groups to better understand customer needs and drive demand through related efforts. Manages budget and optimizes marketing spend across all channels to maximize program effectiveness. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY Manage a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field and at least 15 years of marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience managing a multi-million-dollar expense budget is required. MS or MBA with a focus in marketing. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must have knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Ability to develop and assimilate strategies that support business goals. Must have advanced written, communication, presentation, and computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and/or approaches to issues. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment which includes shifting priorities, as needed. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
