The TA function is responsible for setting Cabot's global recruitment strategy and the continuous improvement of our global talent acquisition processes. The TA team is responsible for recruiting across Cabot's manufacturing sites, businesses, and functions in North America and EMEA as well as supporting local HR teams to ensure strong hiring practices across our global HR network. The Head of Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent to meet Cabot's current and future needs ensuring recruiting success throughout the organization. This role will report to the Head of Talent and be primarily responsible for: Setting Cabot's global recruitment strategy and plans, Collaborating and influencing across Cabot globally to align, develop and implement effective recruitment practices, Manage the TA team located in North America and EMEA, and Lead recruitment efforts, as needed, working closely with senior stakeholders and hiring managers. The position can be based in the US or Europe, preferably near a Cabot location. Job Responsibilities Develop recruiting strategies and oversee recruiting team and operations to ensure job openings are filled by diverse candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner Drive our diversity recruiting efforts In collaboration with senior stakeholders, identify the TA operating model that best fits Cabot's needs and lead change efforts to put it in place Harmonize our talent acquisition processes globally, educating and developing capabilities as needed Manage and develop Talent Acquisition team in North America and EMEA, currently comprised of three recruiters and a recruiting coordinator Continuously identify areas for improvement, working to develop and implement solutions to drive better results Working with Corporate Communications and global HR organization, establishing a recognizable "employer of choice" reputation for the company, both internally and externally by improving the company's marketing collateral, website recruiting page, social media presence, and onboarding materials Provide leadership and advice on all applicable laws and ensure processes are in place for ongoing compliance. In collaboration with site HR managers, ensure ongoing understanding and compliance with EEO/Affirmative Action, applicant tracking and other fair employment practices Lead full-cycle recruitment process at the global, regional and/or site level when needed, primarily for executive-level searches Requirements A positive, progressive, customer-service focus is critical to success in this position. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and influence skills in dealing with all levels of management and is effective at developing strong credibility and collaborative working relationships. Exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to work with and protect sensitive, confidential employee data. Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to set the strategic direction and draw on data-based insights to advance the TA function and realize that vision. The ability to develop plans and organize work to ensure priorities are established, efforts are focused, resources are aligned, progress is monitored, and targets are met. Understands and identifies technology solutions that provide effective and efficient information about Cabot/employees/applicants and enhance the effectiveness of the company's talent management processes.
