Primary Description & Accountabilities The head of Global Distribution Business Capability Models & Architecture (GD BCM/A) leads a high-performing practice within the Global Distribution Enablement & Operations (GDEO) organization focused on delivering business architecture services that leverage T. Rowe Price's Business Capability Model (BCM) to enable Global Distribution to improve accountability, capability ownership and capability maturity across the business unit. This strategic leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a model year of business architecture services and engagements that support GD leaders and their respective leadership teams across our six (6) Global Distribution client-facing business units (Individual Investor, Retirement Plan Services, US Intermedaries, EMEA, APAC, and Americas) and our core GD shared services teams (eg GDEO, Global Marketing, etc.). This is a highly visible leadership role viewed as a trusted advisor to GD executives to help support and foster increased accountability and capability ownership disciplines within their teams and across Global Distribution to support the achievement of our business objectives. Key BCM/A services the BCM/A leader is accountable for include: GD Business Capability Model (BCM) - service to continuously improve our Global Distribution BCM, including enhancing its language, definitions and improving understanding of our business capabilities; the BCM/A team maintains a reference model of named GD Capability Executive Sponsor and Capability Owner accountabilities that is regularly published to GD stakeholders. BCM Education & Enablement - the BCM/A team develops and facilitates workshops, educational content and communications targeted at GD Capability Executive Sponsors (+60 associates) and GD Capability Owners (+400 associates) to drive focus on BCM and Capability Owner Education and to increase awareness of BCM/A Services and their strategic value. GD Capability Assessments - a "deep-dive" engagement service with Capability Executive Sponsors and Capability Owners to help create objective maturity views of their strategic capabilities. The BCM/A team supports the development of recommendations and action plans to improve the maturity of a capability. GD Strategic Planning Engagements - support the GD Executive (GDE) team and GD Leadership Teams with their annual planning efforts leveraging the BCM as an objective framework for strategic dialogues, strategic assessments and/or integrated capability planning Focused Skill Areas for head of BCM/A: Change Leadership - expert in change and communications disciplines to educate and embed capability-based thinking and ways of working into our Global Distribution practices and culture Strategic Consulting - expert consulting skills and disciplines with commercial application Business & Industry Subject Matter Expertise - ability to deeply understand and connect TRP's BCM and capability disciplines to specific business problems and develop relevant solutions Stakeholder Management - cultivating, maintaining, and influencing Global Distribution senior executives and leaders to enable and support achieving their business objectives Capability Owner / Product Owner Mindset - experience delivering large scale capabilities with deep understanding of the critical elements, disciplines (eg Agile), and best practices of Capability Ownership (including People, Process, Tech/Data, and Governance) T. Rowe Price values to drive culturally aligned solutions Standard Role Qualifications Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 15+ years of total relevant work experience Differentiating Advanced Certifications (eg Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Business Architect, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Project Management, Change Management, and / or Agile Certification) JFM: Business Process Optimization | KM5 T.
