As the company had recently completed an acquisition, the growing need for a strategic and hands-on Payroll Manager is inevitable as they are looking for an experienced payroll professional to take over all processes and procedures presently in place, strategically enhance internal processes and policies, while continuing to guide leadership in the payroll department evolution in the upcoming years. The Payroll Manager direct hire opportunity they seek to fill will be a stand-alone position in handling roughly 200 multi-state employees through iSolve and Sage Intacct software systems. The type of Payroll Manager we seek must be highly efficient with Payroll HRIS systems, and comfortable with guiding the organization through their growing pains through their expertise and consultative analysis to leadership and upper management. Responsibilities and duties include:* Provide strong oversight of US multi-state and international payroll functions. Ensure an accurate and timely payroll, including but not limited to salary, bonus, benefits and taxes. Lead the implementation of any new payroll platforms or upgrades* Responsible for ensuring all payroll regulatory filings are completed in line with statutory due dates, and stay current on regulations, benefits changes, and labor laws impacting the payroll process for all payroll tax jurisdictions. * Manage employee globalization initiatives and ensure proper treatment of reportable benefits for tax equalized employees* Lead payroll development and implementation process for new acquisitions or entities.* Review international payroll for Canada, UK, and Colombia, and work with service providers on transmitting payroll accurately and timely* Assist with month-end close, quarter-end and year-end processes for all entities including reviewing/approving journal entries, account reconciliations and accruals* Assist with refining current payroll operations. Identify and implement appropriate control and compliance mechanisms for payroll. Drive consistency across the globe and coordinate regional efforts towards global process standardization while allowing local flexibility when required. Collaborate with teams (internal and external) to streamline processes to ensure accuracy, and best-in-class services* Assist with benefits programs and reconciliation* Proactively prepare relevant management reports as neededIf interested, please apply directly or reach out to Leila Hermes on LinkedIn and indicate which position you are interested in!Job Requirements:* 5-6 + years of progressive payroll experience.
