The successful candidate will work both independently and in a team based environment to develop, coordinate and manage schedules that include a listing of a project's milestones, activities, and deliverables and will help establish scheduling policy for the organization and train other schedulers on how to execute that policy. *Responsibilities include: * * Interact with various project teams and providers to develop and maintain detailed, integrated schedule for Customer * Evaluate project(s) schedule progress and performance and identify and communicate issues and variance * Coordinate/interface with other organizations to flow/roll-up the schedule into higher-level and or integrated schedule(s) * Assist program / project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep all parties informed on program / project progress * Interact regularly with the other systems engineering lifecycles of requirements, configuration management, risk, and lifecycle/readiness * Participate with other stake-holder team members to maintain efficient and effective change management processes, procedures and systems * Attend meetings and assist with determination of project and program requirements - Report status of schedule management as and when required * Track the progress of work being performed by program / project - Maintain a database of giver/receiver dependencies within Microsoft Project Server * Brief senior level management, program managers and teammates * Apprise management and all program stakeholders of schedule risk and progress issues early enough to be addressed *Qualifications* *Education:A' * * Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience A' *Clearance Requirements:* * Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph A' *Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications: * * Bachelor's degree and 18+ years work experience strongly desired; 9+ years of related experience in systems engineering required * Expert proficiency in MS Project * Strong background and experience with schedule analysis to include defining and analyzing critical path for space and ground systems. * Experience with detailed analysis of developers' schedules * Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment * Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities * Ability to think-on-your-feet, adapt as situations change and make the best possible decisions with the information at hand * Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills A' *Desired Education, Experience, and Qualifications:A' A' * * Specific IC Customer experience SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
