Job Description

The Manager II Divisional Compliance role is responsible for implementing and monitoring a broad range of compliance programs in the divisions to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, as well as with company policies and audit standards to increase accountability and awareness of the company\u0027s legal and ethical obligations. This will include but not limited to any training and reporting necessary to comply with both internal and external regulatory standards.

  • Attend and conduct regular training sessions and publish various reports to ensure Brand compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program (AMLCP), Environmental Responsibility Program, and Age-Restricted Products Training and Awareness Programs
    • Communicate problems, formulate resolutions, and assist with the development and implementation of training and remediation programs when necessary
    • Monitor regulatory licenses in store, reporting on failed inspections
  • Coordinate with senior leadership within the division and the senior leadership within the support functions to ensure divisional teams are apprised of compliance activities within the division
    • Communicate changes in compliance programs whennecessary andprepare reports of compliance topresent to both support organization teams and division teams
    • Partner with the other divisional compliance leads to ensure consistency withtrainingandawareness programs throughout the organization
    • Review new and updated Brand Policy documents with stakeholders
  • Partner with Operations around State specific Women Infant and Children (WIC) programs, audits, and other regulatory requirements
  • Liaise between Legal Team and Brand Operations to attend hearings and handle fines, summons and response letters to FDA
  • Liaise between Global Information Security Department and the Brand to assist with Information Security annual testing (PCI Audit) and Living Data: Info Security ELM and to communicate potential electronic breaches
  • Review, balance and follow up on Code of Ethics disclosures to ensure accurate reporting
  • Monitor changes of law to update and implement compliance policies and procedures accordingly
  • Be responsible for securehandling ofcompany confidential and highly sensitive information, disclosure of which could result inserious financial consequences to the organization
  • Perform Brand Cadence Reporting including but not limited to quarterly Ethics & Compliance Committee Report, Store Fine Report, Audit Analysis Report, Environmental Responsibility Report, Front End Reporting and Weekly Compliance Review
  • Review and update the Brand's Record Retention documents
  • Monitor and manage 3rd party EthicsPoint Platform (Whistle-blower hotline) for the Brand and assign cases
  • Assist the Brand, Operations and Stores with Compliance Sign requirements
