This individual will be part of our technology organization, and lead teams developing ML algorithms and models, and working closely with our software engineering teams to build and deploy them at scale. Build the vision and the roadmap as to where the organization will go, what the priorities should be, creating both near-term and long-term wins from the application of machine learning. As a naturally curious leader, stay abreast of and determine how to fully leverage existing and emerging machine learning techniques and frameworks to continuously keep us at the forefront. Help create a clear path for machine learning algorithms and models from research prototypes to production deployment. Nurture a healthy collaborative culture, and provide transparency to business and technology teams on selection and prioritization of machine learning capabilities and their progress. Partner with the enterprise risk partners to stand up proper governance and oversight of machine learning capabilities. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Statistical Modeling At least 5 years of people management experience At least 3 years of Machine Learning experience Prefe rred Qualifications: Masters or Doctorate in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning 5+ years of experience with machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, representation learning, and statistical modeling 5+ years of experience developing machine learning algorithms and models using C++ or Python and Scikit-learn, PyTorch, Keras, or Tensorflow 3+ years of experience in AWS Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position
