CollabraLink is seeking a Vice President, Solutions Engineering to join our Digital Services Growth team reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer. This position can be remote, with travel to HQ as needed. Experience with federal government IT solutioning is required. Responsibilities: As a Vice President, Solutions Engineering, you will provide technical thought leadership throughout all phases of our pre-award business development cycles, supporting our business development team as CollabraLink expands its federal government Digital Services practice. AS part of the Growth organization and reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will be responsible for guiding future customers to long-term value and successfully solve their most complex technical challenges. Coordinating with our Full Stack Engineering Practice, you'll bring together teams of engineers to deliver innovative technical solutions that meet the needs of potential clients. Working with our cross-functional Digital Services leads from Product, Design, Agile, and Full Stack Engineering, you'll build a compelling strategy to solution and win work. Working with the Chief Growth Office and our Business Development staff, you'll earn the confidence of potential government customers through demonstrations, presentations, and meetings. You are the customer-facing representative of CollabraLink's Full-Stack capabilities. This position requires a technical leader who can work comfortably and simultaneously in a business, engineering, information technology, design, and operations environment. A successful candidate will understand customers' needs and translate them into a well-articulated solution and capture strategy. As a Vice President, Solutions Engineering, you will: Work closely with Business Development, Capture, Proposal, and Operations to recommend forward-thinking yet implementable technology solutions Provide exceptional Technical Design, and thought leadership Provide insightful understanding of customer business challenges and priorities and align technical solutions to solve them Write proposal content to reflect the technical solutions developed Follow and understand technology trends to recommend future solutions and service offerings Align solutions with customer cost objectives and price to win objectives Ensure proposed solutions are compliant with CollabraLink's Pillars of Quality (Usability, Technical Feasibility, and Business Value delivery) Lead strategic technical proposal development and reviews Provide transition support and guidance from pre- to post-award by assisting in technical staffing and participating in project launch Work as a team with the EVP-Digital Services and Director of Engineering to identify new business and provide advice and input to Digital and Engineering teams to prepare for the work you are leading us to win. About You: You are a sales-minded problem-solver with strong technical skills You can communicate fluently with senior business executives, salespeople, product managers, researchers, and developers You love digging into code as much as polishing sales presentations You are creative and skilled at coming up with technical solutions to help tackle business problems You are familiar with enterprise platforms and software tools including data, analytics, cloud, and automation You are skilled at scoping, prioritizing and leading projects from start to finish You thrive with autonomy and enjoy taking ownership of your work and its results You are comfortable using diverse platforms and tools You have energy for learning new things, and for sharing what is learned with your colleagues to help them level up You love to stay on top of technology trends and envision ways to make them useful You live by the following principles: Ownership, Empathy, Openness, and Better Every Day Requirements Required Experience: 10+ years of experience in a technical pre-sale, sales engineering, solution architect, or similar role in the Federal IT space Strong communication, presentation skills and ability to lead a conversation with diverse audiences Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences Coding proficiency in one or more languages Extensive experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Experience integrating Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning into cloud-based solutions Knowledge of Human Centered Design, Product Management, and Agile delivery Experience leading multiple teams through a open source, full-stack solution implementations of medium or large scale using DevOps and CI/CD methods Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline Ability to obtain a security clearance with the federal government US Citizenship required; we are unable to sponsor for this role.
