Description SAIC is hiring a Configuration Management Specialist to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program. LANDMARK AOS is a large SETA contract responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and will be located in Chantilly, VA. Job duties include: Manage the Request for Change (RFC) process, particularly as it relates to closing requirement gaps Assist in the development of system level, functional level and interface requirements or their Agile Development process equivalent Identify gaps between requirements and acquisition program capabilities being conducted by the customer's Acquisition Offices Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures Assist in the use of configuration management tools (eg DOORS/JIRA) to store, track, and manage configuration items Assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration Assist in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures; such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process Ensure hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures are followed on hardware and software development projects Work independently and defines and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process Actively assist in developing and tailoring CM processes for Agile and DevOps programs You will work side-by-side with the other 200 LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of System Engineers, Acquisition Engineers and Domain Engineers to lead the customer in acquiring modern processing applications. Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience Required Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph 2 years experience within the Intelligence Community Experience Managing System engineering/Project management processes (CM, Risk, Requirements, etc.) Demonstrated understanding of mission user needs and operational environments Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired Experience as a CM in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is desired (4 years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree) Broad experience (at least 2 years) with other System Engineering and/or Project Management processes Familiarity with Agile development concepts particularly SAFe agile
