Description of Duties: A professional position responsible for servicing a portfolio of single family loans. This role requires knowledge of the principles, practices and methodology of mortgage banking servicing. Knowledge of mortgage banking documents and terms, loan servicing requirements of FHA, the GSEs, VA and PMI, as well as loss mitigation activities and procedures, is required to perform tasks. Under general supervision, the employee works independently and determines/prioritizes assignments, selecting the most appropriate steps to achieve the objectives and deadlines of the department. Contacts are with third-party mortgage loan servicing companies, legal counsel, organizational employees , government agencies and outside organizations to facilitate loan services.

• Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Single Family Mortgage Loan servicing.
• Prior experience working with Master Servicer (i.e. US Bank) or large mortgage loan servicer, preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in finance, account or related field.

Example of duties: review monthly remittances and monitor/report accurate portfolio loan counts, delinquencies, payoffs, forbearances, foreclosures and REO's from third-party mortgage loan servicers; maintain and update information on all mortgage loans in The Mortgage Office® software; process and file third-party servicing requests and recommend actions to supervisor related to defaulted mortgage loans (requests for loan modifications, forbearances, loss claims and REO actions); responsible for liaison with third-party mortgage loan servicers and clients, follow with written or oral answers; act as liaison between accounting departments and third-party mortgage loan servicers; act as liaison between borrowers and third-party mortgage loan servicers in order to resolve delinquency problems; process for payment any third-party mortgage loan servicer invoices.
