Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) Floater who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Physical Therapist (PT) you will:
• Rotate to the following AHC Rehab sites: outpatient, inpatient, and acute care.
• Participate in the evaluation, planning and implementation of specific
treatment and prevention programs for chronic conditions, illnesses, and/or
musculoskeletal injuries in accordance with patient needs.
• Provide services that will restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve
pain and assist patients in reaching their maximum performance level.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team regarding the needs of the patient
and serves as an educator to patients and families.
* Seeking a highly motivated, flexible individual who is a leader and independent
thinker and who desires to make contributions at all of the Rehab sites.

Qualifications include:
• BS/MS/DPT from an accredited program
• Current Maryland PT license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2-3 years Therapy experience required in at least two of:
Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient Rehab, or Acute Care settings

Work Schedule:
Varying schedules (with advanced notice) between 6:30 am and 7 pm, Monday-Friday. As a floating PT, the schedule requires coverage at multiple sites, including: - Outpatient Rehab clinics in Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Silver Spring - Acute care at Shady Grove Medical Center (Rockville) - Inpatient Rehab in Takoma Park and Rockville

Tobacco and Drug Statement

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
