What We Expect
  • Serve as a 'Direct to Consumer' on-boarding focused Wealth Manager
  • Primary focus on helping customers build their first-time financial plan and provide support through the account opening and transfer stages.
  • Help determine appropriate future service model for onboarded customers and ensure a smooth handoff into target segment.
  • Design human support elements of the onboarding process for Direct to Consumer proposition using proprietary and 3rd party tools.
  • Construct a proactive and reactive service model that provides exceptional customer service throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Conduct A/B testing on different customer journeys and compile data driven reports for senior leadership
  • Make clear recommendations on ways to streamline the customer experience based on observed results.
  • Pull through Expected High Value Customers via proactive support and issue anticipation
  • Provide proactive investment and planning advice with support of United Income experts
  • Provide reactive support for some 'digital first' customers.
  • Utilize United Income's CRM for client management and internal reporting
  • Provide technical support and guidance as customer's build their own financial plans using the UI software.
  • Create multiple touchpoints (phone, e-mail, birthdays, in-person meetings) for clients in transition, or clients successfully transitioned, to ensure high client satisfaction
  • Prepare for and meet with clients for the purpose of transitioning such clients to the United Income platform
  • Complete United Income's training program to become an expert in United Income's planning approach, investment strategy, and service methodology
  • Expertly communicate and advocate United Income's methodology and investment philosophy to clients & prospects
  • Assist product team in developing additional financial planning methodologies based on client and your professional feedback
  • Develop technical knowledge and ability to complete all United Income/Apex transfer or recurring paperwork and service items, and work collaboratively with service team to divide these tasks as necessary
  • Build and refine financial plans with the support of the Wealth Management Associate teams
  • Schedule client meetings with the support of the United Income software

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Wealth Management, Investment Management, Private Wealth Management, Premium Banking or Financial Advice
  • Series 65 (or equivalent), or ability to obtain within 2 months of start date

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Willingness to study for CFP or CFA or enhance professional qualifications
  • MBA preferred
  • Data Analytics experience
  • Client Relationship Management or Relationship Sales experience
  • Strong current knowledge of investment products and services
  • Ability to ask intelligent questions to fully understand a client's financial planning needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with focus on presentation skills
  • High work ethic - motivated to improve both quality and quantity of client interactions
  • Creative mind with ability to suggest improvements
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Technology/Onboarding support experience a plus
  • Team-oriented
  • High attention to detail
