Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INSTALLATIONS AND LOGISTICS (I&L) DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will exercise oversight of Supply programs across consumer, intermediate, and wholesale levels to include: core capability, partnerships, and requirements You will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify gaps and lapses in supply policy. You will set priorities and identify logistics personnel resources needed to support numerous internal and external working groups/ integrated project teams related to enterprise ground equipment management and supply capabilities. You will establish clearly defined and understood tasks and objectives that directly support the supply policy, advocacy and capabilities. You will facilitate effective interaction in such a way as to ensure effective problem solving, decision making and coordination of effort in supporting the organization's mission. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supervising personnel on the execution of logistic functions (e. g. deployment and distribution of resources, property accountability, supply, maintenance, logistics services, and/or operation contract support) and managing operation resources in a military logistics planning environment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (eg, professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
