The candidate will support our Federal Health team.As a Mid-level RMF Cyber Security Analyst you will:Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.A week in the life of a Mid-level RMF Cyber Security Analyst:Perform system security analysis to ensure system meets guidelines under DOD Guidance and NIST publications Develop and assist in the coordination and the communication of new system security documentation, IA policies, and procedures relevant to the implementation of security guidance and solutionsExamination of existing implemented security controls for system to ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 security controlsPerform required DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) process steps.Review, update, and maintain existing RMF/ATO package documentation.Provide support for security vulnerability mitigations, POA's, and IAVM's.Provide technology assessment, system development and cybersecurity compliance by working with the system engineers and development teams to ensure developed solutions adhere to DoD RMF Cybersecurity compliance requirements.Provide requirements analysis by working with development teams to analyze requirements for existing and proposed capabilities meet DoD RMF requirements.Provide operational and technical support by reviewing and suggesting recommended changes to system operational policies.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification)Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, Cyber Security, or management information systemsMinimum 5 years of experience in Cyber OperationsExcellent communication skills - speaking and writingProficiency with Cyber Security Tools such as ACAS, SPLUNK, eMASSProficiency with MS Office suiteAbility to identify and use data to detect trends and adjust policies and practices to promote improvementKnowledge of Federal Government cybersecurity policy (DoDI 8500.01)Experience with IAVM reporting and mitigations and POAM writing and management Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Basic understanding of cloud computingKnowledge of Windows Operating System platformSecurity+ CertificationEOE M/F/Disability/Veterans
