Information Security Analyst Senior - Secret Clearance - TurkeyPerforms all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security. Processes documents to facilitate user access and privileged rights required to manage complex servers and mission systems. Overseas the teams COMSEC security program and ensures compliance with security procedures, guidelines, and reporting requirements.Job DescriptionInstruct the team on how to best comply with USCYBERCOM and ARCYBERCOM directions and task orders.Track INFOCON and CPCON notices and make recommendations for their response and implementation.Provide insight and recommendations for threat analysis and develop mitigation and remediation actions.Oversee incident handling in accordance with established organization procedures.Evaluate Cyber Compliance against ACAS & STIG scans and vulnerability remediation efforts.Create system documentation and artifacts to support the RMF accreditation process.Provides recommendations with network and system administrators to ensure audit configurations are optimized to meet Cyber requirements.Creates, updates, and maintains system and network diagrams using Visio depicting the security posture and accreditation boundary of systems and applications.Monitor and analyze Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to identify security issues for remediation.Recognizes potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.Evaluate firewall change requests and assess organizational risk.Communicates alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications and operating systems.Assists with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.Conducts regular audits to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans.Conducts initial investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to management.Ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.Performs periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external Web integrity scans to determine compliance.Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy laws.Maintain up-to-date records of COMSEC inventory and submit required accounting reports IAW policies and procedures.Programming and local distribution of COMSEC devices to include but not limited to Secure Telephone Equipment (STE) and TACLANEs.Order, receipt, loading and management of COMSEC keying material using devices such as the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Simple Key Loader (SKL) and other devices as necessary.Update and maintain the SOPs for COMSEC activities.Re-key all circuits as required.Assist in properly storing, managing, and maintaining accountability of all COMSEC material and assets.Ensure prompt and accurate preparation, signature, and submission of COMSEC correspondence, message, and accounting reports.Conduct periodic spot checks to ensure clearances listed are actually held and valid.Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced team members.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Secret Level Security ClearanceBA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experienceThe candidate must have IAT II Level certification at a minimum and maintain IAT compliancy as a condition of employment.Security+CE certification required; CASP certification desired; CISSP certification a plus.
