Peraton's Civil & Health sector is seeking Data Analysts to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. The Data Analysts will create data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization. Requires strong statistical and data visualization skills. Role and Responsibilities: Works with the user, customer, and developers and other stakeholders for input Designs a data solution that fits within the processes of USMS and the architecture of the system Assists with migration of the data from legacy applications to Capture. Develop business intelligence/analysis reporting tools. Problem resolution, fix defects and ensure definition and resolution in the test phase. support the design and develop a technology solution for existing and new business intelligence/analysis tools, allows more access to data, and reduces manual report creation needs across USMS. Develop data reporting and visualization capabilities in Tableau and integrates Tableau with the data warehouse. Use Amazon API Gateway to deploy data and model outputs to users in easily consumable and flexible visualizations and dashboards. Use Power BI, Tableau, Esri and AWS Lambda to produce scalable interfaces with large quantities of data. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a position of public trust Preferred Qualifications: Knowledgeable with SAFe Agile practices and tools Experience deploying and maintaining national security software systems in a 24/7 environment Experience as a data analyst, data scientist or similar technical role Active adjudicated USMS background investigation or government security clearance Experience with one or more of the following: SQL, PL/SQL, Python, R, JSON, or PowerBI. Able to use Tableau to create visualization and reports. Able to use tools such as Power BI, Esri and AWS Lambda to produce interfaces with large data sets. Ability to analyze datasets for quality, adherence to standards, and make recommendations for data cleansing and transformation.
