Description SAIC Corporation is seeking a qualified Chemical Biological Defense Analyst to provide Assistance and Advisory Support (A) to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Chemical and Biological Technologies Department, Digital Battlespace Management Division (RD CBI). The candidate will provide both scientific and project management support to the client for developing chemical and biological modeling and simulation software development.The work is located in Lorton, VA.The qualified candidate will:Provide project management and acquisition support for CBRN programs, Assist with planning and analytical support, Draft presentations and informational papers for senior DTRA staff on the status of current and future projects and initiatives,Assist with monitoring and execution of projects, to include review of project statements of work (SOW), cost proposals, monthly reports, quad charts and financial reports,Assist with management of extramural research programs which include contracts with industry and government performers,Provide support in executing technology transfers for programs including involvement in transition quarterly reviews (TQRs) and monitoring of technology or data transition agreements,Assist with developing, planning and facilitating new and current performers in both CONUS and OCONUS regions,Assist with special projects, key meetings, and tasks as required to support Science & Technology Managers (STMs),Communicate goals and objectives to senior members of the government,Perform other duties as required.Qualifications Education & Experience:Bachelor's and five (5) years of experience; Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in related field of Modeling/Simulations discipline or in other field with related operational experience in CB Modeling/Simulations. Experience in the operational use of HPAC, CATS (JACE), ArcGIS, and GIS for Consequence AssessmentsExperience as a modeler for CB releases either at the Technical Reachback level (DTRA) or at the operational level within a Civil Support Team (CST)Experience in DoD instructional training programs and simulations used to train forcesExperience with government portfolio program managementAbility to learn quickly and adapt to an ever-changing task assignmentsAbility to prepare formal documents and briefings of a technical and programmatic natureClearance:Active / current DoD Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Department of Defense tactical systems such as Nett Warrior (TAK), ATAK, and/or MFKAbility to analyze and monitor a science and technology R program (multiple projects) and respective project performersExperience with a Combined Arms Lessons Learned (CALL) or service school houseExperience with government acquisition and government funding finance packagesExperience working with intra/inter agency agreements, financial tracking, acquisition policies, and possessing the ability to prepare analysis and monitor program and performers of R programsTarget salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
