To learn more visit us at www.seventhsenseconsulting.comPosition Summary:We are looking for candidates with experience supporting Federal Government contracting offices, either as former 1102 civilian/military, or as contractor support. This particular position will be expert on inputting and extracting data for federal government systems (see Skills below) in support of NASA HQ Office of Procurement. The position is 100% remote.Responsibilities: Provide systems customer support, consultation, training, testing, and reporting support to NASA Headquarters Office of Procurement. Provide support and maintenance for Agency applications and other related Agency and Center production procurement business systems such as (but not limited to) Core Financial (SAP), Procurement for Public Sector (SAP PPS) or follow-on Agency- Wide Contracting System (AWCS), Business Object (BOBJ) Analysis tool (front end for SAP Business Warehouse), Electronic Procurement Data Warehouse (EPDW), Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG) and bReady Procurement system applications (eg PRISM Legacy Storage (PLS)).Provide Agency application instruction and support considering procurement policy and procedures and system capabilities/functionality.Understand the FAR procurement and business processes as they relate to creation of documents and reports from the above systems, and field "how to" questions directly or as they are received from Customer personnel.Keep apprised of current functional process changes and issues via regular Agency Super User teleconferences and related bulletins.Assist in developing and communicating process/policy/system changes to end users and coordinate changes with other Agency sub-processes.Provide business processes and recommend solutions to resolve end user procurement and financial issues and problems relating to the agency's financial system and contract writing system. Provide technical interface and support for the on-going training of end users and super users. Provide operational support for the month-end close process, FY year-end close process, and FY start-up process. Provide system refresher training, new-user training, and current-user training for users mapped to new roles. Additionally, provide training for new or altered capabilities in planned upgrades and patches to the AAO production applications. Activities could include assessing potential user impacts; recommending a training approach; providing updates to or development of training materials and job aids; changing data in a training database; and hosting supported work sessions.Provide report creation, generation, and investigation support. Specific report requirements will be conveyed by the Task Manager (TM), or Alternate TM. Data needed to meet the requirements will generally reside in one of the aforementioned systems.Provide system administration functions similar to, but not limited to, coordinating access to E-Contracts, H-Drive and NX; inputting new contract award information into the Agency IdMAX; setting up new project or source evaluation board group emails; and provide administrative guidance and coordination for those systems mentioned in the SOW (eg, FPDS-NG, SAM).Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business and 0-4 years of relevant professional Experience, ORHigh School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of equivalent professional experienceIn depth working knowledge of one or more federal government writing systems (NASA uses SAP and PPS) Skills: Sharepoint Site Admin experienceFPDS-NG trainer and operations experienceFederal Government contract writing systems experience; NASA SAP and PPS especially helpfulActual experience working within a virtual team via teleworkDesired Skills: Expertise with verbal and written communicationsAbility to build relationships "virtually" across multiple functional organizations within the customer's organization and within the project team organizationProficiency with working within IT systems and tools and proactively reaching out to resolve any computer/systems tools which are dependencies for completing work assignmentsProactively maintaining schedule integrity and workflow visibility on assignments so the Task Lead is always current on task status every day for customer visibility.Seventh Sense Consulting offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, and paid time off.Seventh Sense Consulting is an equal opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
