DESCRIPTION:This job serves as a member of the development team in support of the Enterprise Application System, Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The job is responsible for system analysis, design, solutions recommendation, configuration, data analysis, reporting, and application production support and maintenance. This job will work in conjunction with other developers in an Agile framework to customize, support and maintain NAV and all integrations with other applications designed and built to meet the needs of the business.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related program, or a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration or related programMinimum of 5 years' experience in application life cycle management including application design, structured programming, data analysis, and APIs and Web services.Minimum of 5 years' experience in the support of all aspects of Enterprise Applications, especially Financial Systems.Certification in Dynamics NAV 2016/2018 or D365 BC is preferred.COMPUTER SKILLS:In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics Navision.Knowledge of routine accounting procedures and Microsoft Dynamics Navision base Financial System functionality, setup and configurationKnowledge of Sales Order processing and fulfillment, including all systems integrations such as EDI Processing, eCommerce, warehouse management and invoicing. Knowledge of Lanham Software is strongly desiredExperience with integrating with Salesforce, especially Salesforce CRM is strongly desiredExtensive Programming Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav. 2016 or D365 BCExperience with upgrading Microsoft Dynamics NAV to D365 BC is desiredSignificant experience with current application tools and technologies including SQL, .NET, and integration technologies including SFTP, APIs and Web Services.Experience in Nav Report development, Integrations, SQL Developments, SQL setup and configuration for NAV 2016 or higherExperience with Jet Reports and Power BI is desired.Experience in working with ANSI X12 EDI transactions and EDI Mapping is desired.Proven experience developing within an Agile framework using Jira and participating in all Agile Ceremonies.Experience with DevOps processesExcellent written and oral communication skills as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)RESPONSIBILITIES:Work as a member of the Financial Systems development team using the Agile framework to provide support to existing applications and integrations and to add new features and functionality in a continuous release schedule according to the priorities set forth by the business.Work closely with the Finance Team business users, SMEs and Stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate those requirements into detailed technical specifications, update system configurations, program code or modify existing programs necessary to meet the needs of the business.Collaborate with all developers on the Finance Team, including those provided by support partners, to consistently interpret programming specifications: write efficient, clear, readable code; communicate change and process with other developers in a collaborative way.Provide clear and consistent documentation including, detail requirements, design specifications, technical modifications/configurations Test Scripts, etc.Work with members of other development teams on integration efforts in support of business processes that cross applications.
