We are currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US). NTT DATA Federal is seeking a career oriented Configuration Management Analyst (CMA) to support the growing needs of a federal client. The CMA will support ongoing development of, and administration of, the government client's configuration management program. The individual in this position will work across all teams to ensure quality and accuracy within the configuration management program while continuously improving processes and standards.Desired ExperienceThe Configuration Management Analyst will assist the client with with experience in: Processing, tracking, updating, maintaining and closing Software Change Requests (SCR) and Software Change Proposals (SCP) Managing Configuration Items and Identification logs Performing audits, assessments and CMDB health checks Documenting CM processes and procedures Preparing CM metrics and KPIs related to overall success and effectiveness of the CM program Updating/maintaining CM SharePoint sites and document libraries Responding to CM data calls and participating in CM meetings 2+ years working in a high volume, operations environment 2+ years of experience with ITIL processes in fast-paced environment 2+ years of experience communicating with customers at all levels 3+ years of customer service experience Excellent communications skills, including the ability to write concise analysis summaries and actions reports General Skills ITILv3 Foundation Certificate Experience using ServiceNow ITSM (any version) Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Microsoft Team Foundation Server Cisco Prime Key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts. Required Qualifications Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline (equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree) Must have 6 years minimum relevant experience in: Using Information Technology based applications to implement process improvement and reengineering methodologies to client business processes. Duties may include activity and data modeling, developing improvements to business methods on IT related projected. This individual is responsible for transition planning introduction, and integration of new IT processes. May provide group facilitation and training for newly implemented IT processes and act as key coordinator between multiple process stakeholders and project.
