Advertising Manager, Good Neighbor Pharmacy

As an organization, we are united in our responsibility to create healthier futures.What you will be doing The Advertising Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our Good Neighbor Pharmacy marketing value center within their assigned territory. This role will develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies on a local and regional level to maximize market share, increase sales, promote community pharmacy, and support Good Neighbor Pharmacy . Promotional efforts will align with brand direction, compliment national campaigns, and positively impact pharmacy performance by driving additional traffic in-store and increasing current customer awareness of pharmacy offerings. While maintaining corporate objectives, this associate will identify, advise and execute digital campaigns appropriate for the local market. This role will be a strategic business partner and interface cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing programs, business coaching, merchandising, and sales field teams, and global sourcing, as well as external contacts such as customers, suppliers, vendors, and outside agencies.Act as the strategic and consultative partner for Good Neighbor Pharmacy members within assigned territory. Assess customer needs, business differentiators, requirements, and budget to successfully develop advertising campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, in-store traffic and Rx and OTC sales. Primary focus will be in digital advertising and social media management, supplemented by other media as appropriateCollaborate with marketing programs team to build cohesive, creative, and effective campaign strategies and marketing materials for the local level, that when necessary, aligns with the national strategy.Develop and maintain strong partnerships with program and sales field teams. Communicate frequently to gain additional insight into customer business objectives and needs to present an aligned account team and consistent experience for the customer. Act as a marketing SME for account team partners. Develop highly-effective digital marketing strategies for each member based on their goals. Channels include, but not limited to, local listings, social media, website, reputation management, PPC and mobile app. Assure optimal social media presence for pharmacies. Lead, develop and execute a social media strategy across platforms to include; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Posts, etc. with an emphasis on creating awareness for each customers' individual pharmacy brand, driving more engagement with their store and maintaining the best possible online and offline reputation for pharmacy members.Create and implement social media content and calendar at the local level, inclusive of posting for individual pharmacies and managing online contests, polls, product giveaways, etc. Analyze results of campaigns against ROI and KPI goals and adapt ongoing and future campaigns based on the data to optimize spend and maximize performanceReview, edit, and approve images and advertising copy as appropriate. Reference Good Neighbor Pharmacy brand guidelines to ensure brand complianceEducate, coach and train internal and external stakeholders on the importance of creating and managing an effective digital and social media presence, including reputation management. Share industry and program-specific best practices for high-impact profiles to engage target audience and communitiesDevelop and maintain a strong base of working knowledge of the digital and traditional advertising industry, including identifying up-and-coming trends, competitive intel and pressures facing customers. Partner with vendors and agencies to manage the execution of advertising campaigns at the store level unique to each pharmacy's business strategyMust be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet marketing objectives. Must be willing to travel to trade shows, conferences, national and regional sales meetings and customer locations when necessary.Work with supervisor to proactively develop and identify development opportunities such as skills training and professional acumen.Performs other duties as required.Learn more about the Advertising Manager and other Marketing services offered to our Pharmacies at https://www.wearegnp.com/marketingWhat your background should look like (minimum qualifications) 5+ years proven experience in digital advertising across multiple channels, branding and consumer marketing efforts. Proficient with Google My Business, Google Ads and PPC marketing and social media management and paid campaigns; inclusive of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Franchise marketing experience is preferred; knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and/or independent business ownership is preferred Must be creative, have an analytical mindset, think strategically and objectively, adapt quickly to change, and be results oriented Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated experience in building and managing relationships at multiple levels internally and externally Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to convey information professionally and effectively to customers, associates, and management. Ability to present complex topics in an approachable fashion Excellent presentation and public speaking skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding Strong organizational and time management skills,with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (eg PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), Adobe Creative Suite, various content manage systems and social media platforms and management tools Google Ads Search, Google My Business Basic and Google Analytics Individual Qualification certifications preferred Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred Proficient in Facebook business manager, various social media management platforms and reporting on social media metrics and analytics May travel 25-50% What AmerisourceBergen offers We offer competitive total rewards compensation.
