Job Description Description Your Role:The Technical Recruiter, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success primarily within Tenable's Product Engineering Team. This will be achieved through the development of local, national and global recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, non-traditional, and creative recruiting/sourcing ideas. The Senior Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Your Opportunity:Develop and execute recruiting plans to efficiently and effectively fill open positionsSearch, identify, qualify and present candidates for open reqs.Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employeesServe as an advisor to hiring managers and Leadership on recruiting planning meetingsAssist with the creation of job descriptionsLead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open positionConduct regular follow-up with managers to implement and determine the effectiveness of recruiting plansDevelop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of needResearch and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruitingStrive to be an active member in the local technical communities to build a network for sourcing and referrals - including, but not limited to, attending local meetups and conferences.Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidatesCommunicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leadsMaintain regular contact with possible future candidatesAssist in College Recruiting InitiativesAttend career fairs for recruiting and company recognitionDevelop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruitingReview applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirementsMaintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the ATS (Jobvite)Perform reference and background checks for potential employeesPrepare and sending offer packagesPerform other special projects as assignedWhat you'll need:6+ plus years of full life-cycle recruitment experience3+ plus years technical recruiting experience - emphasis on product dev, cloud-based applications (java/microservices), infosec/cyber, UX and/or product managementKnowledge of Chrome extensions, sourcing tools, and productivity tools to make your recruiting life easier.Excellent written and oral communications skillsAbility to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and multi-task in fast paced environmentKnowledge of Google business apps (mail, sheets, docs), Slack, and other comms/productivity tools.Must be very organized and detail orientedAbility to interact with all levels of staff in a professional mannerAbility to work effectively independently as well as cooperatively with a teamAnd ideally:Bachelor's degree.
