As a joint operation among the military services (Army, Navy, Air Force), the ASBP:Provides quality blood products for service members, veterans and their families in both peace and war. ASBP collects, processes, stores, distributes, and transfuses blood worldwide.Collects, processes, stores, distributes, and transfuses blood worldwide.Works closely with our civilian counterparts in times of need.Your Impact to the Mission:VMD is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with experience working with DoD military and/ or civilian customers supporting healthcare systems. The primary responsibilities of this role are:Formulate and define systems' scope and objectives based on both users' needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.Devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.Conduct analysis of business and user needs.Analyze the business needs of clients and stakeholders to help identify business problems and propose solutions.Develop requirements documentation, and translate into proper system requirements specifications.Provide consultation on complex projects.Perform as top-Level contributor/specialist for most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.Experience Needed to Be Successful:Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting DoD military and/ or civilian customers involved with healthcare systems.Experience with Client relationship management and reporting.Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and software development methodologies.Strong affinity towards data analysis and understanding of the capabilities and limitations of technology.Expertise in business process analysis, system analysis and data analysis.Facilitates working groups and sessions, design schedules, conduct analyses, develop models, write reports, prepare presentations and present results.Possess working knowledge in Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as well as the Defense Acquisition Guidelines (DAG).Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
