Rowe Price Common Trust Funds (Trusts), Canadian Pooled Funds, and Private Fund vehicles in a wide range of product management activities including detailed analysis on investment vehicle, pricing, external market analysis, and succinctly communicating any conclusions. In addition, this role may lead initiatives that will require the Product Analyst to work closely with key stakeholders across the firm including global product, investments, distribution, legal, operations, and finance. The Product Analyst will also provide project and research support to the Product Managers. The Product Analyst will create a broad range of materials for review and inclusion in management presentations and product governance meetings, including boards. The Product Analyst must be able to act independently, make certain business decisions, and collaborate with business partners and project teams to influence and advance initiatives. The Product Analyst will also enhance policies and procedures and work to improve processes to efficiently manage initiatives and product related tasks. The role is involved with projects that have enterprise-wide impact.Job Responsibilities:Collaborates with Product teams to build the business cases for new products or modifications to existing products.Researches, develops, and delivers analysis for presentations and reports to be delivered internally regarding product development and enhancements. Demonstrates knowledge of assigned products, the marketplace, industry, and client needs.Researches regulatory developments and analyzes potential implications to existing Products.Conducts financial modeling for current and new products being evaluated. Participates in presentation of analyses.Conducts operational activities related to new product launches, restructuring, merging, closing, and other product-related changes including fee and name changes.Manages activities outlined in product development and implementation processes. Develops and manages product implementation plans and timelines.Establishes relationships with partners in Operations, Legal, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, etc. to ensure successful implementation of new or modified products.Monitors and measures the success of various products leveraging established metricsIndependently creates, updates, and enhances policies and procedures of products and vehicles; provides education on these policies and procedures. Manages end-to-end process reviews.Creates a broad range of materials for product governance meetings including boards as well as reports, research for senior management leveraging both internal and external data sources and contacts.Acts as point of contact for distribution, investments and other departments regarding product/vehicle characteristics, and policies and procedures. May provide guidance to more junior associates. Provides high level assistance and coverage to Product Managers and serves as their backup as needed.
