These positions are responsible for the analysis of system and/or security requirements, the development and implementation of mission critical applications for the agency's Information Technology operations.As the Senior Security Operations Engineer and Team Lead, you will lead HRSA's Security Operations Center in mitigating threats. This position will report to the HRSA Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).Your major duties and responsibilities will include:Engineering, designing and implementing information security threat response tools to prevent, detect, analyze and respond to malicious activity and/or anomalies.Developing and implementing processes for the security operations team to follow to prevent, detect, analyze and respond to malicious activity and/or anomalies leveraging the tools available.Maintaining security operations tools at optimal operating performance and provide tier 3 engineering level support.Performing advanced malware analysis and forensics.NOTE: Do not cut and paste the duties, specialized experience, or occupational assessment questionnaire from this announcement into your resume as that will not be considered a demonstration of your qualifications for this position.
